Amy messaged me at the end of last year and I loved her brief. Amy and Andy were to be married at a beautiful church in Port Sunlight, Wirral and celebrating thereafter at Oldfield Farm, Heswall, Wirral. I hadn't been to that venue before, but fast forward to our consultation meeting earlier this summer and I met them there before grabbing a coffee and going over her order. The views were incredible. I love being back in the Wirral as I was born there and I’m quite fond of Wales, having spent family holidays there when I was younger. The views at this venue are incredible, looking out along Parkgate, Thursaston and the very start of North Wales (P.S If you've not yet been to Parkgate, for either fish and chips or an ice cream, I suggest you go asap and sit on the wall looking out over the old marshland). Amy and Andy told me their plans for the tipi and the surrounding area and I found myself getting caught up in their excitement.

When we arrived at the coffee shop in Heswall village, I got a great feeling about this lovely couple and found that we had plenty in common. I left the meeting really looking forward to their their big day.

Amy is Australian so wanted to have plenty of eucalyptus within her wedding. Her trestle tables within the tipi had eucalyptus along the table runners and the foliage featured heavily in the bridal party flowers.

The bridal bouquet contained Quicksand, Sweet Avalanche and Snowflake roses, Blushing Bride Protea, Waxflower (another sentimental material), Dahlia, Astrantia, Olive, Astilbe and Ruscus. A charm had also been added to her bouquet in memory of Amy’s father. The bridesmaids bouquets contained similar materials and all the bouquets had beautiful blush and burgundy silk ribbons - which truly looked amazing in their outdoor venue in the wind. Amy also had a beautiful hairslide using similar materials. Buttonholes contained similar materials, with the addition of blousy lisianthus in white for the mother of the bride. A cake topper was also created using Blushing Bride Protea, Snowflake roses and tons of foliage.

The professional photographs are incredible, Livi Edwards Photography completely exceeded my expectations. The images of the bridal party with North Wales in the background are some of my favourites of the year. I didn't expect anything less - when you get a good feeling you just know!

Many congratulations to Amy and Andy again and thank you so much for allowing me to be part of your wonderful wedding, it was a pleasure x
