Nikki and Darren’s wedding flowers were filled with soft pastel colours which perfectly complemented their wedding venue, Statham Lodge, Lymm, Cheshire.
When I met Nikki and her lovely mum at their consultation, I really understood what Nikki and Darren wanted and had a vision as to what the day would be like. Family, friends and fun.
Nikki and Darren wanted an outdoor ceremony, with a feature being made of the black metal structure in the grounds of which they would be taking their vows in front of. This excited me, HUGELY and I got planning and designing in accordance with their brief. Unfortunately, we couldn’t plan the weather and the heavens opened for the majority of the wedding day and the couple had to have their ceremony indoors - but the ceremony was beautiful. The poor archway design had to watch from afar in the rain!
The wedding flowers, buttonholes, wrist corsages and top table centrepiece had plenty of pastel flowers in, including a few different varieties of rose, Lovelace, Wedding, Miss Bombastic, Snowflake and white Avalanche. Pink Lisianthus, pink Delphinium, pink Carnation, white Lisianthus, soft fluffy white Gypsophilia also featured. A favourite of this year, Astrantia, tall pink Astilbe, white Veronica and fragrant white Stocks were also used. The addition of blush silk ribbons by Silk and Purl to the bridal party flowers were a very pretty accessory.
Gorgeous lush foliage complemented the florals and worked perfectly with the outside gardens. We used several varieties of Eucalyptus, rich Pittosporum and Pistasche.
This was a lovely wedding to be involved in - congratulations again to you both x
